This policy explains how Athena Scale ("we") handles data on this website and on the internal tools used by our team.

Who we are

Athena Scale is a performance marketing company based in Brazil. For any privacy question, contact contact@athenascale.net.

Information we collect

Website: this website has no forms, no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser) for security and operation.

Internal tools: access is restricted to members of our team. Sign-in uses Google, which provides us with the name and email address of the authorized person.

How we use the TikTok Marketing API

We use the TikTok Marketing API only to (1) read performance metrics of our own TikTok ad accounts, such as spend, impressions, clicks and conversions, and (2) manage campaigns in our own ad accounts, such as status, budgets and campaign creation, at the request of our team.

We only access ad accounts that we own and that we have explicitly authorized through TikTok's official authorization flow. Authorization can be revoked at any time, by us or on TikTok.

We do not use the API to collect personal data about TikTok users, and we do not build user profiles. The reports we access are aggregated campaign results.

How we use information

Information is used only to operate our own campaigns: internal reporting, budget decisions and campaign management.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share data with third parties. Data is processed on our behalf only by our infrastructure provider (Google Cloud), for hosting and storage.

Storage and security

Data is stored on Google Cloud, in data centers in the United States. TikTok access tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256). Access to our tools requires sign-in with an authorized account, and credentials are kept in a secrets vault.

Retention

TikTok access tokens are kept only while the authorization is active and are deleted immediately when it is disconnected or revoked.

Campaign performance data is kept only for as long as it is needed for our internal reporting, and is deleted upon request.

Sign-in records of team members are removed when their access is revoked.

Your rights

Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), you can request access to, correction or deletion of your data by writing to contact@athenascale.net. We reply within 15 days.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
